Twt’s novelties: “Laser.hp”

27/04/2023

One of the latest “workhorses” presented by Twt is “Laser.Hp”, an innovative high-speed tool that meets the demands of the latest machining centers.
The single-block construction allows for greater rigidity and thus guarantees high rotation speed: “Laser.HP” can reach a cutting speed of up to 120 meters per second.

Laser.HP’s performance increases the quality and finish of the workpiece. The joiner can rely on carefully designed cutting geometries, to ensure the most effective and efficient result in every situation. The technical solutions adopted make it possible to significantly reduce the size of the chip, offering better evacuation and eliminating any imperfections during machining”.
Not only that. “Thanks to the “NaDia” coating, the inserts last longer, allowing a reduction in machine downtime and longer working cycles. This”, he continued, “combined with the considerable increase in cutting speed and feeds, greatly increases productivity.”

“Laser.HP” cutters have fewer cutting edges and only one clamping screw in 90 percent of the inserts used: this allows for reduced disassembly and assembly time, resulting in direct optimization of maintenance costs.
Each Laser.HP profiled insert features NaDia coating to ensure the same cutting quality throughout its lifetime.
“The special tungsten carbides used, the NaDia coating and the quality of the sharpening process result in an extremely high-performance cutting edge.
These features make “Laser.Hp” cutters ideal for medium to high production levels. Thanks to the cutting geometries of the inserts and the NaDia coating, the components of “Laser.Hp” are less prone to wear and tear, leading to a significant reduction in machine downtime”.
Through the Qr Code on the tool, it’s possible to reorder the inserts automatically, simply using a smartphone or tablet. This enables faster and safer order fulfillment, thus managing the insert “stock” more efficiently and optimizing time and costs.
