Movelsul and Fimma Brasil: together in 2022

In a press conference held on February 5, the presidents of the Rio Grande do Sul State Furniture Industry Association (Movergs) and the Bento Gonçalves Furniture Industry Union (Sindmóveis) announced that Fimma Brasil and Movelsul will be scheduled together between 14 and 17 March 2022.

After the cancellations of the events of 2020 (Movelsul) and 2021 (Fimma Brasil) due to the pandemic, for the first time in history the two fairs will join forces, sharing dates and spaces, the Parque de Eventos in Bento Gonçalves.

They are not of a merger, but of two important fairs for the world furniture sector which take place on the same date and place. Traditionally, fairs take place in alternate years: Fimma in odd years, with a focus on the exhibition of machines, raw materials and accessories, Movelsul, on the other hand, takes place in even years, with furniture and decoration displays. When the union (and not the fusion) is strength.
