Appointed new Biesse Russia director

Biesse Group continues to focus on the Russian market, indicating the company’s belief in the high potential of the region. Against this backdrop of renewed confidence, the new General Director of the Moscow subsidiary has recently been presented.

Matteo Vaglica, a young professional who already boasts a wealth of experience in a number of leading positions in the industrial sector in Russia, expressed his enthusiasm for his recent appointment: “I’m delighted to be joining a Group which is pursuing a number of major investment programmes in this area, in spite of the recent uncertainty of the Russian market, Biesse has chosen not to overlook the region. Following higher education in Economics, Vaglica moved to Moscow in 2009, leading the market for a major international ceramics group. Over the course of just a few years, he occupied several senior management positions within the engineering and industrial sectors. As a permanent resident of Moscow, awaiting naturalisation, Vaglica is adept at navigating the economic and cultural peculiarities of the country.
