Scm Group: wood 3D "Streaming Innovation" model

The wood sculpture created with the help of the Scm machining centres, a 3D miniature of the massive “Streaming Innovation” installation, is on view until 14 February, along with other exhibits, at the “Limen Design and Architecture” show at the Valentianum Auditorium in Vibo Valentia. This annual event, organised by the Vibo Valentia Chamber of Commerce and CNA, is dedicated to training and entrepreneurship, focusing this year on the driving role that technology plays in the design and arts & crafts industries.
The close relationship between arts & crafts, design and architecture will be the subject of the closing conference of the Limen show, on 13 February, chaired by architect Mario Cucinella, Fabio De Chirico (Director of Art, Contemporary Architecture and Urban Peripheries Office at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage), architect Federico Rossi of London South Bank University, and Pietro Celi (General Director of the Territorial Activities Office at the Ministry of Economic Development).

“Streaming Innovation” was the work presented by SCM Group at Ligna Hanover 2015; it was designed by Federico Rossi and created with the help of the SCM machining centres by Naldini Arredamenti of Forli.
