Biesse Group confirms its participation at Xylexpo 2016

At just under twelve months from the start of Xylexpo 2016, the biannual international exhibition dedicated to technologies and supplies for the furnishings and woodworking industries, Biesse Group has once again confirmed its participation as an exhibitor at next year’s event. This important confirmation has been much anticipated, because, thanks to the attendance of top ranking international companies like Biesse, Xylexpo will once again be able to affirm its status as a reference point among exhibitions held on even years.

“Our decision to participate at Xylexpo once again this year was certainly based on our past attendance record at this event, which, despite the complexity of the current times, shows our desire to go “above and beyond”, explains Giancarlo Selci, CEO of Biesse. “And it is this desire that has convinced us to once again assume an active and pro-active role, confident that the organiser’s and the association’s decision to look ahead, to envision new pathways, and to already begin sowing the seeds for 2016, will allow Xylexpo to return to performing that pro-active and effective role, which is essential for attracting visitors and companies of all sizes from all over the world”.

A bold and coherent decision for an international exhibition that’s currently preparing a new project. “For us, the 2016 edition will be one of transition”, says Lorenzo Primultini, president of the exhibition and Acimall. “We are well aware that the time has come to change, and to offer the Italian and international exhibitors new opportunities. While it is true that exhibitions (and not only those in our industry) are traversing a period of “excessive tranquillity”, it is likewise true that there is an abundance of ideas and skills for building new pathways, perhaps even in terms of the daily contribution offered by the latest woodworking technologies”.
