Jowat has hired its 1000th employee, continuing its international expansion

The number of employees of the Jowat Group has passed the 1,000 milestone in March 2015. For the medium-sized family-owned company with headquarters in Detmold, this is a landmark on its international course of expansion, strengthening the production and development sites located around the globe, and also the 20 international sales subsidiaries. Among the 1,000 employees worldwide, almost 450 are already working outside of Germany today.
In 1919, Johannes Watzlawczik, founded the company in Breslau, setting up a wholesale business. Over almost 100 years of corporate history, a large number of highly committed staff members have provided their input to develop, manufacture and market innovative adhesives. This alone made Jowat one of the leading global adhesive manufacturers with dynamic growth perspectives.
