Meeting “Energia&Ambiente” (Energy&Environment)

Last June 25, Friday, the town of Oristano in Sardinia hosted “Energia&Ambiente”, an update meeting for professionals in the wooden door and window industry, dedicated to innovation and the future of windows.
The event was organized by companies Corà Domenico & Figli Spa, Sayerlack srl, Agb Alban Giacomo spa, in collaboration with Consorzio LegnoLegno.
250 door and window manufacturers came from all over Sardinia to attend, showing great interest for this training and discussion day exclusively dedicated to them, focusing on the most topical subjects of the industry: the importance and latest news for wood certification; innovation in paints with a focus on the durability of windows; technology applied to lift-and-slide units; cascading; energy saving; technical tools for window manufacturers, laws and finance.
Participants had the opportunity to live the world of windows for one day, meeting suppliers of timber, paints, hardware and all materials required for doors and windows, from product concept to installation. There were sessions for training and update (the conference), meetings with suppliers (stand visits) and networking (the final buffet lunch).
The event was held in a beautiful setting, the Corà Legnami warehouse, where you are completely surrounded by wood of all species and shapes.
Besides the three organizers and the LegnoLegno consortium, the event was supported and attended with their own stands by companies Rekord, Olimpia, Fischer Italia, Logico Team and Borga.
The next “Energia&Ambiente” event will be held on 1 October 2010 in Calabria, at Montalto Uffugo (Cosenza).
