Italian design wins an important case

Important sentence in defence of Italian design. And the protagonist is the famous lamp “Arco” designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos in the Sixties. This lamp has been protect against the copyright violation by House World, a Chinese traders company based near Florence.
The Florentine court acknowledged the copyright in favour of Flo and sentenced House World to pay a fine of 40 thousand euros. Then the copy-lamp by House World won’t be produced and commercialized anymore.
