Only for women: the second edition

After the first edition success – over four hundred projects entered by more than two hundred and fifty designers from thirty two nations – the second edition of Only for women – the international design award dedicated exclusively for female designers – is going to start.
Students and professionals from age 22 upwards are invited to take part to the competition. There is no age limit. They must submit a project for a collection of seating for outdoor use: chairs and benches/chaise longue and pool-side loungers/seats (with or without arms) and stools. It is seeking innovative designs and solutions which help reduce the impact their manufacturing, use and disposal has on the environment. The deadline will be 8th March 2010.
The first three prizes will amount to 1.500, 1.000 and 500 euros.
