Innovation-oscar for Bütfering

The Münsterland innovation prize for 2009 has been given to the Beckum machine manufacturing company Bütfering Schleiftechnik (www.buetfering.de). The prestigious award was for the construction of a low vibration machine base, produced from a specially developed heavy weight material branded “Sorb Tech^©”. According to the jury, it showed an “especially innovative and trend-setting invention for the machine manufacturing industry“.
