Orgatec 2010: registrations are opened

Although there’s still about a year to go until the next Orgatec is held in Cologne from 26^th to 30^th October 2010, preparations for the event are already under way, the registration documents for Orgatec 2010 have been sent. This year the event will take place once again in halls 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.1 and 10.2 of the Cologne exhibition grounds. Manufacturers that wish to secure an attractive stand area well ahead of time can take advantage of the “Early Bird” discount on the stand rental fee until the end of November 2009. The Koelnmesse has already received the first stand location requests. “We are experiencing higher demand from Italy and Spain in particular due to the change of dates of European trade fairs for the office sector“, says Stefan Kranefeld, vice president health, lifestyle and facilities at Koelnmesse. “In terms of content, we will continue the concept of a theme-oriented trade fair in 2010 as well. Under the motto “better office-greater success“, Orgatec 2010 will present future-oriented solutions for offices and office facilities. The focus will therefore be on intelligent solutions based on the interplay of furnishings, lighting, flooring, acoustics and media technology. These solutions enable people to work effectively and efficiently in the office, and they also place an emphasis on sophisticated design.
