Furniture production in Austria

According to Statistik Austria, in the first three months of 2009, furniture production decreased by 14 percent (541.8 million euro versus 626.8 in the same period of last year). Recession mainly affected the seating (-19 percent), office and shop furniture (-15 percent) sectors. The trend was positive for kitchen furniture, up by 1.2 percent.
