Italians panels for new inhabited solutions

Reflecting on world of wood and on by-products of wood and sharing the new perspectives on panels market: these were the main objectives of the convention organized by Assopannelli that took place during the annual meeting “From innovation to planning: the Italian panels for new inhabited solutions”.
The convention was opened by Giuseppe Bini, president of Assopannelli while Paolo Ninatti, president of Assolegno, closed the activities. “With this convention – said Bini – we wanted to focus the attention on the use of wood and perspectives of relaunching of panels in construction industry. It seems that in the future there will be a deep transformation for this industry. So it’s important that the companies will propose innovative products and technological solutions to be protagonists on national and international markets”.
The favorable context for structural wood relaunching of the last months (also because of the earthquake in Abruzzo) points out interesting use opportunities for wooden panels. In fact during the convention, it was talked about the advisable use of wood in seismic areas, thanks to its characteristics such as flexibility and resistance/weight relation.
