Kitchen industry in Germany

The VdK (the German association of kitchen furniture manufacturers) expects the domestic market turnover to be unchanged. The first six months of 2009 will not be positive as to exports. The trend will improve only in the second half of the year.
2008 closed with a slight industry turnover increase (2.3 percent). The results constantly worsened during the year: in the end of June the increase was still at 5.9 percent.
