Design Miami/Basel

2009 marks the fourth anniversary of the Basel edition of Design Miami (www.designmiami.com/basel), the pre-eminent international forum for limited-edition design. This year Design Miami/ Basel consolidates its links with Art Basel and investor Mch Group (formerly Messe Schweiz) by moving to Hall 5 at the heart of the Basel exhibition complex.
An expected increase in visitor figures following last years record number of attendees marks a coming of age for this important event which is not only the leading authority in its field, but also a catalyst for innovation and a forum for new ideas.
The new location has generated an enthusiastic response from this years 28 participating galleries, who welcome an increasing overlap between Design Miami/Basel and Art Basel attendees. The new location promises a more integrated experience for visitors and exhibitors alike.
