Bauma 2010

The deadline for receipt of registration applications from exhibitors has now passed, but the organisers of Bauma 2010 – construction machinery trade fair of Messe München that will take place from the 19^th to the 25^th of April 2010 – are very satisfied with the response so far. According to the organizers, interest from exhibitors across all product sections is so strong that it accounts for the entire exhibition space reserved for the event – a total of 540 thousand square metres spread between the exhibition halls and the open-air site. “Inquiries from first-time and regular exhibitors from Asia are more numerous for bauma 2010 than ever before“, revealed exhibition director Georg Moller. This all indicates that for bauma 2010 there will be a further rise in the proportion of international exhibitors.
Of the 3,002 exhibitors at the last bauma in 2007, 1,643 came from 48 countries outside Germany, which is equivalent to more than 54 percent of the total. The countries with the strongest exhibitor contingents were Italy, the Us, Great Britain and China.
