The Saloni 2009

Despite the huge global crisis that has engulfed us all, the Saloni 2009 are almost upon us: from 22nd to 27th April, the Milan Fairgrounds will play host to the Salone internazionale del mobile, Euroluce (the International Lighting Exhibition), the International furnishing accessories exhibition and SaloneSatellite, every last centimetre of exhibition space totally sold out. There are actually 202,350 net square metres of exhibition space, all of which will be taken up by the event, split up as follows: 155,350 by the Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, 43 thousand by Euroluce and 4thousand by SaloneSatellite. And the organizers declared there is a huge waiting list.
It would be impossible not to be thrilled by this initial result” states Carlo Guglielmi, president of Cosmit. “Now we are hoping to equal the number of operators who came to the 2007 edition, which coincided with the year in which the biennial Euroluce exhibition was last held. Above all, however, I hope that all those companies who have committed themselves to taking part in this edition of the Saloni, which has entailed great sacrifices on their part, will discover it to be the best possible marketing tool, offering huge visibility that will help to send out a positive signal in these difficult times”.
