Strong growth for Bosch Rexroth in 2008

Bosch Rexroth (www.boschrexroth.it) – one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of drive and control technologies – closed 2008 with 5.9 billion Euro consolidated turnover, up by 9.8 percent compared to the previous year.
R&D investments also increased, reaching 260 million euros (4.5 percent of turnover), with over 2,200 specialists exclusively dedicated to the creation of new products, solutions and services.
The growing demand for Bosch Rexroth products also had a positive effect on employment: the number of employees increased by over 2,000 units, reaching 35,300.
As for 2009, Rexroth, while taking into account the difficult period of global economic recession, is committed to preserving the jobs of all staff and to keep R&D investments high in order to meet the demand of increasingly large and dynamic markets.
