Lba at Samulegno 2009

Featuring a specific contest called “Triumph of polishing”, Lba – the company based in Oderzo (Tv) specializing in the production of high performance abrasives for sanding and finishing operations in the main industrial fields – took part to Samulegno 2009, the biennial international exhibition of woodworking machinery and technology. The company organized a première to present 691C, the new abrasive paper for wood surfaces painted with transparent or pigmented glossy paints. Thanks to a state-of-the-art water-resistant latex support it provides the user with unrivalled finishing results, from the first to the last piece, ensuring effective processing even in operating conditions characterized by high humidity or high pressures, often due to sanding cycles carried out with automatic machines.
“The attendance level of the industry operators during this edition of Samulegno confirms the importance of following the “path of technology” especially during difficult economic periods such as the one we are living now” – said Mirko Longo, product manager, Flexible abrasive Department of Lba – We are aware of this concept and that is why we address to all the experts of the wood industry aiming to optimize production cycles, increase the quality of finished products and improve production costs. 691C is the first important step towards these goals because it ensures clear benefits: higher operating life, lower machine downtime due to belt change, shorter cycles and reduced processing wastes”.
