Stop to the European parquet race

After years of boom, 2008 ended with a decrease in European parquet sales, as Fep – European federation of parquet industry, based in Bruxelles – said. According to a report published by Fep, parquet industry lost 7 percent in product sales compared to 2007. Total consumption of Ue/Efta area (European Free Trade Association, that includes Island, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland) is about 122 square metres of parquet.
