New and major additions to Sicam 2009 in Pordenone

Sicam continues to gather additional exhibitors. The International Exhibition of Components and Accessories for the Furniture Industry – which will be held in Pordenone from October 14 to October 17 2009 – is attracting high levels of interest, confirmation of the fact that the sector of supplies and semi-finished products is fast determining the makeup of Exposicam and the Pordenone Fair.
Just in the last few days confirmations of attendance have arrived from leading producers of panelling, wallpapers and semi-finished products, including the Trombini Group, Süddekor and the Fantoni Group. These confirmations go to join what is nothing less than a flood of components’ and accessories’ suppliers for the furniture industry which, right from the first hours of the fair’s office opening for registrations, have chosen to exhibit with Sicam in Pordenone.
The latest additions are proof positive that, right from its début, the trade fair will be strongly representative of all segments of supply, components and semi-finished products for the furniture industry. This reaffirms the role of Pordenone – already benefiting from its prime geographic location, in the heart of one of the areas where Italian furniture production has its deepest roots – as the capital city of furniture’s wide-ranging universe.
As of the time of writing, over 170 exhibitors have decided to attend Sicam, already occupying 50 percent of the available space in the trade fair quarter. And don’t forget that for several weeks now the list of exhibitors has been available online and is updated daily, at www.exposicam.it/english/elencoespositori.asp.
An intensive programme of promotion is underway to ensure that Exposicam 2009 is a success in terms of the quantity and quality of the exhibitors, but also to ensure that the event has a major international flavour in its makeup. After attending Intermob in Istanbul, a trade fair that demonstrated the importance of the Turkish semi-finished products industry and supplies for furniture, Sicam also had a stand at Index in Dubai. In addition to “direct presences” like these, the busy promotion programme also includes a packed schedule of visits that takes in Mebel in Moscow and Big 5 in Dubai.
