Giovanni Gemmani newly appointed president of Scm Group

Scm Group shareholders assembly appointed the new Board of directors comprising eight members: Alfredo Aureli, Adriano Aureli, Andrea Aureli, Enrico Aureli, Giovanni Gemmani, Linda Gemmani, Mario Molteni and Nicola Alessandro Saldutti. The three new members of the Board are: Enrico Aureli and two outside managers, Mario Molteni and Nicola Alessandro Saldutti.
The assembly appointed Giovanni Gemmani as president, successor of his sister Linda Gemmani upon termination of her office. Alfredo Aureli has been confirmed Ceo and Adriano Aureli vice president.
The Scm Group is world leader in the woodworking machinery and systems industry. With headquarters in Rimini (Italy), employs 3,800 people, has 27 production plants in Italy, 26 foreign subsidiaries, and exports 70 percent of its production to 120 countries through subsidiaries, distributors and agents. Scm Group turnover is around 700 million euros, Ebitda 14 percent with a positive financial position.
Giovanni Gemmani, 45 years old, married with six children, is an electronics engineer, who took office in the Group in ’93 as R&D director and then as general director of Gabbiani, Mahros, Dmc and, recently, Scm.
