Huge interest for the 6th Bi-Mu Mediterranea edition

On 24 February 2008, the 6th edition of Bi-Mu Mediterranea, the biennial event focusing on the machine tools industry, robots and automation closed at the Bari exhibition center.
During the four-day-meeting, Bi-Mu recorded more than 8,000 visitors. The number of operators in Bari was more or less the same as the past edition. It all confirms the value and the authoritativeness of the biennial show, an exhibition which cannot be missed for all users of production systems operating in the Mediterranean areas.
Organized by Fiera del Levante together with Ceu-Centro esposizioni Ucimu and sponsored by Ucimu-Sistemi per produrre, the Association of Italian machine tools, robots and automation, Bi-Mu has offered the best of the production by more than 260 companies within the exhibition surface of net 7,000 square meters.
Attention was devoted to machine tools and production systems, innovative solutions, basically based on modular and scalable functions.
To balance the wide range of products exhibited, a rich meeting program was offered according to tradition.
