German woodworking machines up by 11%

In the whole 2007, the entire woodworking machine production in Germany was 11% higher than in the previous year.

The estimated production value was more than 3 billion Euros. With +23% the domestic market was particularly positive, whereas export recorded +8% compared to previous year. The export increase was due to sales within the Euro zone especially.

2008 forecasts are still positive despite the critical signals due to the global economy: +11% is expected.
