Dieffenbacher takes over Metso  panel division

Dieffenbacher (www.dieffenbacher.com) has agreed with Metso to take over its panelboard business in Nastola, Finland, and in Sundsvall, Sweden. Only the refiner-related operations in Sundsvall will remain in Metso’s ownership.

The value of this transaction is not disclosed and is estimated to be closed by the end of January 2008. Dieffenbacher will take over all 60 employees in Nastola and 40 employees in Sundsvall.
