Fep’s “Real Wood” initiative  gets new boost

Following the meeting between the “Nederlandse Parket Alliantie” and the Fep secretariat, (European federation of the parquet industry) which took place in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands), eight leading Dutch parquet manufacturers have joined Fep’s recently launched “Living on Wood” campaign and have obtained the license for the use of the Real Wood logo/label. The logo has meanwhile been officially registered by Fep on the territory of the European Union.
In the same line, Fep is also very pleased with the adherence of Tilo GmbH, Chène de l’Est, Boen Parkett Deutschland and Amorim Revestimentos, who will undoubtedly further strengthen the cluster of the licensed companies for this important initiative.
The new affiliates bring the actual number of companies authorised to use the Real Wood label to 43, a most encouraging result in a short period of time since the introduction of the project. An updated list of all Real Wood licensed affiliates can be found on the recent and informative Real Wood website, under www.realwood.eu.
Fep’s management team is pleased with this development and sees the recent adherence of the many parquet producers as yet another token of recognition for the continuous and focussed efforts the federation is undertaking at European level to objectively communicate to the consumer the multiple advantages of genuine wood floors.
