TWT has announced the acquisition of Omas

26/02/2026

TWT, a specialist in the production of professional tools for woodworking, has announced the acquisition of Omas, The transaction – the companies explained – includes the Omas brand, technical know-how, documentation and the entire spare parts inventory, all of which will be integrated into TWT’s Rovereto facility.

For us, this operation has a value that goes beyond the numbers,” says Filippo Pellitteri, CEO of TWT. “When a company with the history and reputation of Omas chooses you, among several alternatives, for a reason that is not price but trust in your project, it means that the path you are taking is being recognized by the market. It is a mark of esteem for our people, our technology and our way of understanding relationships with customers.”

LA CRESCITA DI TWT
TWT was founded in 2016 from the merger of three historic companies in the Trentino tool district – Garniga (1965), Zuani (1972) and Rekord (1982) – with the aim of bringing together complementary expertise into a single hub. The acquisition of Omas therefore fits naturally into this trajectory: a new legacy of experience that adds to the path shaped by the company’s history. Production and spare parts management will be transferred to the Rovereto plant, where they will be integrated into a manufacturing system built on precision, technological innovation and bespoke design as its core pillars.

We want every Omas customer to perceive this transition not as a change, but as an evolution,” Pellitteri continues. “Those who have relied on Omas for decades will find in TWT the same attention to quality and personal relationships, enhanced by a broader range of technological solutions and one of the most advanced production infrastructures in the sector. For us, people come before technology: this is how we have always built every relationship.”
