Essetre, Techno Tour 2026: focus on “Techno Flex”
Technology, innovation and sustainability are the key themes that shaped and guided the latest open house organized by Essetre, a Veneto-based company specialized in the design and manufacturing of machining centers for timber construction, which opened the doors of its headquarters last March. The event provided a concrete opportunity to see the company’s latest solutions in action through live demonstrations, technical insights and direct exchanges with industry professionals from Europe and the United States.
Among the innovations presented, particular attention was drawn to “Techno Flex“, the new machining center designed for processing “XLAM/CLT” panels and curved beams—an increasingly strategic segment in timber construction. The machine introduces an innovative approach to the production process thanks to a patented solution that enables complete machining of all sides of the workpiece without the need for repositioning.
From a technical standpoint, this configuration represents a significant evolution: eliminating intermediate handling operations reduces cycle times, minimizes the risk of human error and improves overall machining accuracy. The result is a tangible increase in productivity, particularly relevant for companies involved in serial or large-scale production.
Alongside “Techno Flex”, the open house featured continuous operation of other machining centers from the “Techno” series, including “Techno Fast”, “Techno Saw” and “Techno PF 1250”. Live demos allowed visitors to observe real processing operations, such as machining beams up to 620 mm in height, producing structural elements for timber houses, and handling “XLAM/CLT” panels up to 1250 mm in width.
A central role was also played by the “E Live” software, which demonstrated how digitalization and automation can seamlessly integrate with production processes, helping to optimize job management and machining control.
