GDA opens its new Besenello headquarters

20/05/2026

GDA – a company specialized in the production of carbide-tipped circular saw blades for processing wood, panels and aluminum – has inaugurated its new production headquarters in Besenello, in the province of Trento, opening the plant to customers, dealers, partners and suppliers. The event marked a significant milestone in the company’s growth path.

The new site covers more than 7,000 square meters, within an overall area of 52,000 square meters, and includes over 6,000 square meters dedicated to production. The facility is equipped with a photovoltaic system, water recovery systems and full climate control.

During the guided tour, guests were able to follow the main stages of the production cycle, from the selection of raw materials to the shipment of the finished product. Particular attention was paid to the automation solutions adopted by GDA, including robotized departments, automatic handling systems and proprietary technologies for blade quality control. The finished goods warehouse holds between 40,000 and 45,000 standard blades ready for delivery.

The day continued with a number of technical meetings dedicated to the company’s production philosophy, commercial development and relationship with industrial partners. Gianluca Adami and Nicola Pedrotti recalled the approach guiding GDA’s activity, summarized in the principle “… high technology, artisanal method“, underlining the importance of process control, quality and continuity in relationships with suppliers and distributors.

Representatives of Ceratizit then took the floor, focusing on the European raw materials supply chain and the development of materials intended for high-end blades. At the center of their remarks was the value of a collaboration based on “… a shared long-term vision” and on the choice to guarantee partners a safer and more traceable supply chain.

Manuel Todesco, CEO of Novotic, instead discussed the technological collaboration with GDA in integrating artificial intelligence solutions for production quality control. A path that, he explained, has gone “… well beyond the traditional supplier-customer relationship“, evolving into a genuine co-innovation experience.
