Dalso “enlivens” the Paris metro

Excellent results for Dalso automation lines; the achievement and design of commission 1,000 includes a goal full of great commitment and sacrifice that leads to important results in the industrial automation sector.
A number that had to reflect the particularity of the automated system, which emphasized the different movements that Dalso offers daily to its customers and which encompasses the quality of the products and of its work.
The final choice therefore fell to a particular automation system: the automation line for concrete Railway Sleepers.

“This line – commented the company on its press release pre-Xylexpo – is special not only for the type of material to be handled but above all for its purpose; in fact, the line was specifically designed for the new Paris Metro.
The line can be summarized in the function of gluing, in a specific way, the rubber parts to the concrete sleeper that will create the support of the subway tracks.
The operator, using a forklift truck, loads the concrete sleepers, which will be picked up by a manipulator and deposited individually on top of a layer of previously positioned lower tires.
At this point, the concrete beam runs along the line to the real gluing and assembly station where there are two specialized robotic arms”.

Thanks to a careful and meticulous precision work, the final product is thus assembled which, once the gluing cycle is completed, proceeds along the line to the unloading station. A manipulator, then, manages both the different pallets supporting the sleepers and the unloading of the same, also placing a layer of protection between one sleeper and the other.
