The parquet industry will meet in Campo Bisenzio (Florence) on October 24, 2025, for the conference organized by AIPPL – Italian Association of Wood Flooring Installers, in collaboration with the National Research Council – Institute of BioEconomy.
The event’s main theme: “Parquet Technology – The State of the Art in Wood Flooring”, a technical and scientific forum focused on the present and future of the industry.
The venue, Spazio Reale Eventi, will host a full-day program running from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, opening with a welcome speech by Pietro Belloni, President of AIPPL.
A panel of experts will follow, including representatives from Cluster Foresta Legno, FSC Italy, Acimall, as well as leading universities and research institutes.
The agenda covers key topics such as market trends, European deforestation regulations, technological innovations, moisture measurement, selection of substrates for multilayer wood flooring, and wood thermal treatment.
Special attention will be given to the life cycle analysis of wood flooring and the latest regulatory updates on surface treatments.
