Three different approaches, one shared goal: making drilling processes faster, smarter and more compact. The Ima Schelling Group has introduced its latest solutions for industrial furniture production, covering the full range from high-volume series to batch size 1.
The lineup includes the high-performance drilling machine “IMAGIC HP”, designed with a fully modular concept. Thanks to the flexible combination of different drilling units, it can achieve a capacity of up to 100 parts per minute, while keeping component stress to a minimum with up to 25 drilling cycles per minute at each performance level.
For single-batch production, the company offers the “IMAGIC L1-U”, featuring an innovative transport system that eliminates idle times. The clamping system, which can switch sides during processing, makes use of the return path for additional operations. In its two-bridge version, the line can integrate up to eight processing stations within a compact footprint, significantly boosting both productivity and flexibility.
Finally, developed in collaboration with ZIMMER, the new “Front Drilling Machine” introduces a high degree of automation with five robots dedicated to loading, unloading and handling parts. In addition to drilling, the system performs milling as well as the insertion of fittings and hinges, ensuring reliable, efficient and error-free processing even for highly varied production runs.
With its modular and scalable portfolio, IMA Schelling further strengthens its position as a reference provider of industrial drilling technologies tailored to the diverse requirements of modern furniture manufacturers.
