FederlegnoArredo, Italian Federation of Industries of wood, cork and furniture, has reaffirmed its commitment to support the wood industry, to exploit the wide Italian forests through a concerted plan to find support by different participants in the industry. The position of FederlegnoArredo was expressed in the Table wood industry, held in Rome at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
The Table wood industry has seen the commitment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry to find solutions and administrative regulations that promote forest management and productive use of energy, in relation to environmental concerns. The meeting was also attended by the National Academy of Forestry Sciences, the State Forestry Corps, the Italian Farmers Confederation, Cnel, Coldiretti, the Council for Research and Experimentation in Agriculture, Federforeste and Wwf.
The meeting, ended with a commitment to provide operational subgroups, with the aim of providing concrete answers to the various instances.
The meeting was not an isolated incident, rather it represents an important time to continue the efforts to create a system to interact more strongly with the politics and institutions: the leaders in the industry have already fixed a meeting to develop new synergies with all the realities of the industry.
