NürnbergMesse: majority stake in Trendfairs

NürnbergMesse, the Nuremberg trade fair organisation, announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Trendfairs, a trade fair provider based in Fürth and Munich. Trendfairs’ portfolio comprises a total of five high-quality B2B events in the fields of interiors, lifestyle and technology, to be held in Germany, Austria and, in the future, also in Switzerland.

“With Trendfairs we acquire a trade fair organiser of the highest standard, who has been engaging exhibitors and visitors for years with its excellent event know-how“, said a satisfied Peter Ottmann, CEO of the NürnbergMesse Group.

Trendfairs will continue to be responsible and active in the market for its customers as an independent company. In the medium term, synergy effects are to be realised with regard to NürnbergMesse’s existing event portfolio, procurement and the transfer of know-how between trade fair operators. The focus of Trendfairs is on the topics kitchen, interior and technology; in these areas the organiser specialises with its trade fairs.
