On Saturday May 12 at 10.30 a.m. Lem 2, Ponte dei Mari Est will be held the talk show “Craftsmen ask, technology replies”. The event is organized by Xylon in cooperation with Confartigianato LegnoArredo and Consorzio LegnoLegno with the aim to study in deep the relation between these thwo worlds, both rapidly and continuously increasing. How is handicraft technology demand changing? NC machines are now “part of the family” also among small and medium businesses that process wood. What is their target?
Have traditional suppliers adapted their offer? Is there still a problem of training for new technologies? Are manufacturers duly considering needs and requirements of their customers? Is the richness and great variety of handicraft supported by new technologies or are we moving towards standardization of production processes? These are some of the topics to be discussed with a panel of prominent personalities.
