Reacting to the crisis that involved all its production units, Egger – one of the most important company envolved in the furniture sector– had recourse to overtimes and holidays reduction, external collaborators decrease, temporary lay-off and dismessal of about a hundred of employees. St. Johann (Austria) and Brilon (Germany) factories are the most hit by dismissal and temporary lay-off.
