A volume about a thousand  wood species

In November, the volume “1000 Legni Woods” by Dindi Editore is being distributed in many bookshops.
This is the first publication of the newly born publishing company Dindi, a collection of one thousand woods from all over the world, with images acquired by scanning real wood sections directly.
Thanks to the work by Gianni Cantarutti, a timber expert, this easy-to-read volume contains a “xyloteque” full of pictures that convey the beauty and fascination of this natural material.
Printed on low-impact Fsc paper, this unique publication classifies wood species not only by quality and origin, but also by environmental friendliness, assigning a red, yellow or green light according to the impact of their use.
Original and easy to read, this book is dedicated to industry expert, architects, environmentalists or simply lovers of beautiful books, curious readers, nature and environment supporters.
