2015, another positive year for Salvador

“After a record 2013 and a 2014 that concluded with a double-digit growth, we didn’t expect to have similar satisfactions in 2015”. This is what Christian Salvador comments during his presentation of the preliminary year-end data of the Italian company he co-owns, specialized in the wood optimization production. “We continued along the way that we pre-set – he continues – working to consolidate our market presence and to experience new opportunities where we are less known. And we obtained results, thus allowing us to close an important three-year period during which we have accompanied the increase in  sales and machines produced with a ‘fine tuning’ of the organization.”

 

Because selling more means producing more, offering ever-growing certainties in terms of service, and the ability to guarantee continuity and quality in the relationship with clients and vendors. In Europe, the growth was possible thanks to the acquisition of new market shares, accompanied by the consolidation of our presence in the Americas, a market with important results in the last years and which this year – thanks to the efforts to have a rooted presence “on site” – enabled Salvador to have the edge. A positive trend, which has seen the presence of the Salvador optimizing saws in major exhibitions in many markets, including Brazil, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Belgium, Belarus, Germany, the United States.

 

If in 2014 Salvador’s “technical style” was mainly defined by the launch of the new “Classic 60” and by the loading and unloading system of the “Superpush 250”, in 2015 the cutting edge of the Italian company’s research and development is, without any doubt, the new “SalvaWood” software. Salvador’s technicians and consultants have focused on a clear objective: to create a very easy to use software, which guarantees an extremely “smart”, smartphone-like approach for the operator! And so it was: many Salvador machines are now equipped with a management and control system that enables the operator to immediately understand what needs to be done in order to obtain a certain result, managing to easily interpret the different menus.

The software – uploaded to a latest generation computer connected in real time to the numerical control, both designed and manufactured by a leading international group, with over 70 branches around the world – guarantees the maximum computing power and the best optimization route, obtaining not only a never before achieved wood “performance”, but also an extremely high speed (two milliseconds) to check all the calculation combinations.

The system can of course host and store hundreds of thousands of cutting programs, retrievable with extreme simplicity; the procedure through which the operator sets the data of the work he is about to manage is just as easy. There are four working modes (cutting with complete optimization, with or without marks; fixed cutting, fixed sequence cutting and mark cutting), with the possibility of managing up to five qualities and overlapping table packs, having maximum freedom to customize the parameters and the optimization priorities so as to get the best out of every production cycle.

The possibilities offered by the new simulation system are particularly appreciated, which allows you to check, once again with extreme ease, each possible cutting combination before launching the process.

The “S-Money” menu makes statistics available for three level production costs: global, by program and by working range, a triple opportunity to define the correct cost per work, per operator and per type of wood used.
