The countdown to Xylexpo, the international biennial dedicated to woodworking and furniture industry technologies, continues. The event will take place from 9 to 12 June 2026 at Fiera Milano. The 2026 edition – organized by Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of woodworking machinery and technology – will mark an important step forward in terms of synergy: Xylexpo will be an integral part of MaTec, the new exhibition platform that will bring together Xylexpo, Composites Future and Plast. The project aims to create a major hub dedicated to material transformation technologies, connecting complementary sectors and strengthening the international reach of the exhibition.
Exhibitor registrations are progressing steadily in a market context that remains challenging but shows encouraging signs. The introduction in Italy of the hyper-depreciation measure in the 2026 budget law represents a strong incentive for investment in advanced and sustainable technologies and a concrete support for companies aiming to innovate. “The early bird phase for exhibitor registration is still open, valid until 30 November 2025, allowing companies to secure the best visibility at the fair with favorable conditions”, explained Dario Corbetta, the show’s director.

In a complex scenario, Italy continues to play a leading role, confirming itself among the main European and global markets for the production and use of woodworking technologies, thanks to a dynamic, export-oriented and highly innovative industrial base. “With its combination of innovation, sustainability and international networking, Xylexpo 2026 is set to offer an even broader and more integrated platform, reaffirming its position as a strategic showcase for companies that want to be key players in the future of woodworking”, concluded Corbetta.
