Carlo Piemonte appointed new Director General of FederlegnoArredo starting January 2026

Starting in January 2026, Dr. Carlo Piemonte, who has spent twenty years serving the wood–furniture sector and the national forestry supply chains, will take on the role of Director General of FederlegnoArredo, becoming, at 44 years old, the youngest Director General in the Federation’s history.

The announcement was made to members by the President of FederlegnoArredo, Claudio Feltrin, during the end-of-year assembly held today at the Triennale di Milano.

The choice of Carlo Piemonte, shared with FLA’s Executive Council, represents an important step for the future of our Federation. His in-depth knowledge of the various supply chains, his ability to work closely with both businesses and regional, national, and European institutions will constitute a key added value for all our members and for our production system. To him,” commented Claudio Feltrin, President of FederlegnoArredo, “goes my gratitude for having accepted a challenge that is both complex and inspiring, one that he will be able to face relying on the collaboration and know-how of the Federation’s structure.”

It is an honor and an emotional moment to take on this role,” declared Carlo Piemonte. “I thank President Feltrin and the Executive Council for their trust, the institutions and the friends from the Friuli Venezia Giulia Cluster with whom I have shared an exciting twenty-year journey based on dialogue and on the strength of the projects to be carried out in support of the sector.”
