Two events are scheduled for October 14 and 15 at the Grand Hotel Villa la Torretta in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan) by Assolegno of FederlegnoArredo, the Italian Association of the structural wood industry and builders, dedicated to companies and professionals.
On the 14th, the Assolegno General Assembly will be held during which two new projects will be presented to the associates: the Italian Wood Exchange and the marketing of Co2 removal certificates.
On 15 October it is the turn of the Timber Forum “Zero Carbon Conference” a discussion during which it will be possible to deepen the issues related to wooden constructions, starting from the lightness of the material whose use requires less energy commitment in the production phases and in the road transfers as well as in site handling, compared to some traditional materials. Wood construction, today as in the short term, can not only be a reference for architectural and engineering solutions, but at the same time it can be an element of economic, ecological and social sustainability.
