60 years of Santalucia Mobili

Santalucia Mobili, a historic company from Friuli specializing in the production of furniture for living spaces, bedrooms, and home accessories, celebrated its 60th anniversary with a special event at the Magredi Poldini Center in San Quirino. The gathering brought together shareholders, employees, key suppliers, as well as local and industry authorities.

The company’s story is a journey that began in 1965, when seven young carpenters joined forces to found the Santalucia furniture workshop. Starting as a small artisanal laboratory, the company grew while keeping its passion for furniture and design alive. A key milestone in this growth came in 1993 with the launch of the first collection of modular wardrobes.

In addition to celebrating its 60 years of activity, the company announced that it has become a Benefit Corporation. “This transition represents a concrete commitment to a business model that combines economic performance with the goal of generating a positive impact on society and the environment. With this decision, Santalucia Mobili strengthens its commitment to sustainability and corporate ethics, placing people’s well-being and environmental care at the center of its mission,” the company explained in the press release issued for the anniversary.

These 60 years are an extraordinary chapter in our history, but for us they also mark the starting point of a new journey,” commented Jacopo Galli, CEO of Santalucia Mobili. “Becoming a Benefit Corporation allows us to look to the future with a renewed vision, where innovation and respect for the environment come together with our commitment to customers and the community. It is a milestone that makes us proud, but it is also a commitment that pushes us to do even more.
