The program of Federmacchine to revitalize the manufacturing industry

The Board of Directors of Federmacchine, the federation that represents the Italian manufacturers of capital goods, met last week and approved the official document: “Tips for the new government. Essential lines of action in support of the Italian industry”.

The report, which presents a program of action to promote and encourage the development activities of Italian manufacturing firms, was sent to the president of Confindustria and to the candidates in the upcoming elections.
 
Inside are presented concrete measures and proposals designed by the federation that represents one area of the capital goods, which has 3300 companies, 141 thousand workers, with a total turnover amounted to Eur 28 billion.
 
Among the measures suggested by Federmacchine, are included: the introduction of the measure, which allows the reduction of business tax payment on the staff for a percentage of the share of production to foreign markets, and liberalization of depreciation, the rates are still updated, a measure that would not affect, in the medium term, the state coffers, since it would only imply the translation of the proceeds to the Revenue, and a new measure on the model of the law 1329/65 (Sabatini Law), which has contributed much to the industrialization of the country.
 
The Executive Council of the Federation, comprising twelve associations representing the major sectors of the capital good, also stressed the attention of those who are preparing to govern the need to work more closely with colleagues to raise awareness of the to the Ecb monetary policy more favorable to the “made
​​in Europe”, currently penalized by unfavorable exchange rate with major currencies, most notably the U.S. dollar.
