Milesi – a brand specializing in coatings for wood and other materials, belonging to the multinational Ivm Group – presents Milesi Talent, an initiative that involves the students of the LegnoArredo Training Center in a reflection on the theme “Sustainable Bio 4.0 cuisine”.
The aim of the contest is the creation of a wooden object coated with Milesi paints, which interprets the theme of the competition and which, at the same time, enhances the expressive possibilities offered by the different painting techniques. The competition aims to enhance the creativity of children and facilitate the connection between school and work, supporting the training of future professionals in the furniture and furnishings sector.
The presentation meeting of the project, which was held at the headquarters of the LegnoArredo Training Center, was an opportunity to reiterate how the synergy between the Polo and Milesi is destined to grow over time with an educational and training offer in the theoretical field. extremely professionalizing practice. The students then participated in a training session organized by Milesi technicians, to then move on, in the coming months, to the design and construction phases of the objects.
The artifacts will be examined by a jury made up of representatives of the business, institutional and professional world, together with exceptional personalities and testimonials. After the award ceremony scheduled for May 2021, the object created by the winning group of the contest will be exhibited in the Milesi showroom.
The Milesi Talent project will accompany the students of the Legno Arredo Training Center throughout the school year 2020/2021, in a training course that aims to enrich the technical background of tomorrow’s professionals.
