Ima Schelling focuses on second-hand machines

12/03/2024

In order to conserve resources, Ima Schelling reconditions its used machines and offers them as ‘second-hand machines’. “We are convinced of the longevity of our products,” explained Oliver Westerkamp, who manages and is in charge of Ima Schelling’s second-hand machine division. To further extend the already long life cycle of the machines, they are refurbished, modernised, certified and resold in his department: a solution that, as Ima Schelling explains, is sustainable and resource-saving. “Disposing of functional components is simply a waste of resources and is no longer in step with the times,” he says.

Our customers, ” concluded Westerkamp, ” are convinced by second-hand machines and are increasingly demanding them. And they do so all over the world: we are currently realising projects with second-hand machines in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Turkey, France and India.
