25/03/2025

The Hettich Group, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of furniture fittings, closed 2024 with revenue of approximately 1.4 billion euros. The merger with FGV, which took place in January 2024, contributed to a 12 percent increase compared to the previous year. Exports accounted for 80 percent of the total. Globally, the company employs around 8,400 people, including 4,000 in Germany.

Sustainable investments for growth

Over the past three years, Hettich has invested more than 450 million euros in new products and infrastructure. Among the most significant initiatives is the sustainable expansion of production areas in Germany. According to Timo Pieper, Managing Director of Hettich, the new facilities “exceed the requirements set by the German energy-saving decree and set new standards for sustainable industrial construction”.

Internationally, the company continues its growth strategy, as demonstrated by the inauguration of the Leg Factory in Penang, Malaysia, dedicated to the development of height-adjustable desks. This marks another step in strengthening the group’s global presence and promoting innovative solutions in the furniture sector.
