The national cluster Italy Forestry Timber is born

FederlegnoArredo is one of the founding members of the Italian National Forest Wood Cluster, alongside universities, trade associations and research institutes. The signing – in the presence of Minister Lollobrigida – represents “…a step forward in the national forestry strategy and consolidates our commitment to enhance the Italian forest-wood system and strengthen the competitiveness of the supply chain, continuing along the road to sustainability.
The contribution and support of MASAF, which today is christening the Cluster, will be fundamental in promoting the active management of our forest heritage, through an ecosystem approach that will benefit the supply chains involved, the environment and the economies of the territories.
Our best wishes for good work to Nicoletta Azzi, who takes over as Cluster vice-president, and to all the board members,” explained Claudio Feltrin, president of FederlegnoArredo.
