Jowat expands in China

Jowat, the well-known German adhesives manufacturer, has announced further expansion into the Asia-Pacific market with a new site in China. After founding Jowat China Adhesives, a wholly-owned subsidiary, last summer, Jowat has now ‘laid the cornerstone’ of a new production site in the city of Pinghu, Jiaxing, in the Chinese province of Zhejiang. In addition to a production and storage facility, Jowat is also building a modern research and development centre on a 17,300 square metre site.

The new Jowat Adhesive Centre in Asia will cover an area of over 11,000 square metres and should be completed by the end of 2023. The first batch of adhesive should be produced in time for the Chinese New Year in 2024.
