Raute: 44 million euro orders from Thebault

Raute Corporation – specialized in the manufacture of machinery for the production of veneered panels and beams, plywood and lvl – has signed a contract worth EUR 44.6 million with the French group Thebault for the supply of technology for a new plant for the production of Lvl (Laminated Veneer Lumber). This plant aims at a production of approximately 100,000 cubic metres of Lvl and is scheduled to start up in 2025, becoming fully operational in 2026.

Thebault is among the leading French plywood producers and has an annual production of 125 thousand cubic metres, almost 50 percent of the national plywood production. The group has 400 employees and generated a turnover of EUR 100 million in 2022.
