EPLF: Veronique Hoflack appointed President

EPLF, the European association of laminate flooring producers, has appointed Veronique Hoflack as President for the remainder of the 2025–2027 mandate. The decision was taken during an Extraordinary General Assembly and formalised through an online vote held between 10 and 16 January 2026.

Hoflack succeeds Ruben Desmet, who stepped down after leading the association during a period marked by strengthened activities in sustainability, innovation and industry representation. The new President will work alongside the current Executive Board, which includes Fabian Kölliker and Philipp Sprockhoff.

“This mandate represents an opportunity to ensure continuity in the association’s work and to strengthen EPLF’s role at a time of economic and regulatory change,” said Veronique Hoflack. “The objective is to continue supporting a sustainable and competitive European laminate flooring industry”.
